The Children and Young Peoples Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports Residential family support and education services to 018-year-old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families. This post is being recruited for the Childrens Disability Network Team: Blakestown. The successful candidate is required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 018-year-old children and young persons with complex needs. The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family centred model. Avista has 3 Children and Young People Disability Network Teams and the candidate may be required to work across any these 3 teams if and when the need arises.
Essential:
- Hold an NQSW or equivalen
- Be registered with the Social Workers Registrar (CORU) with active CPD Portfolio
- Permit to work in Republic of Ireland
- Have experience of working with children with complex needs and their families and/or experience in working within children and family services in the community.
- Have experience of working in services which operate and comply with child protection procedures in line with Children First National Guidelines and Certificate of completion for An Introduction to Children First - E-learning module
- Hold a full clean driving license and use of a car
