Job Summary
Overview
As a Sr. Maintenance Mech/Mold Tech youll be responsible for supporting troubleshooting and maintaining the plant manufacturing equipment. This position will be responsible for providing in-depth knowledge focused on the mechanical and electrical aspects of sustaining equipment. This position is expected to be proactive and perform their work at a high level with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks to increase Equipment Uptime and Reliability
- Perform periodic Preventative Maintenance tasks.
- Provide direct technical support to associated manufacturing equipment
- Provide in-depth troubleshooting skills to make mechanical/electrical repairs to complex equipment.
- Communicate issues/improvements/ideas between department members and Supervision.
- Responsible for reviewing Corrective Work Orders via CMMS software and update as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment/machinery to determine root cause and improve performance
- Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability
- Work alongside the Production team in resolving equipment issues.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Follow Safety Policies and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Hands-On experience with extensive troubleshooting skills
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Industrial Maintenance role
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform electrical/mechanical maintenance on machinery
- Knowledge and ability to understand Electrical/Mechanical Drawings
- Vast Experience working with manufacturing equipment and performing repairs
- Advanced and proven technical troubleshooting experience/skills
- Knowledge and experience with computers (Ability to research parts machines etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to complete tasks safely and in a timely manner.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Working toward a Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Extrusion and related equipment heavy machinery
- Problem solving experience and strong background in mechanical discipline
- Knowledge in Continuous Improvement (Improve equipment with new designs/modifications)
- 15 Years Industrial Maintenance and Mechanical Experience
