The Role

Were on the lookout for a proactive and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team at our Melbourne this role youll be a key driver in promoting a culture of health safety and environmental excellence across our projects.

From identifying risks to implementing safety strategies youll be at the forefront of ensuring our people and workplaces remain safe. Youll also lead incident investigations and deliver practical solutions to help prevent future occurrences.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing practical hands-on HSE support across assigned projects
• Identifying potential hazards and drive preventative strategies
• Developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders
• Conducting safety inspections risk assessments audits and investigations
• Delivering clear recommendations and champion best practice
• Supporting ongoing HSE reporting compliance and performance tracking

About You

Suitable applicants will be/have:

• Degree or post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline;
• Internal auditing qualification (ISO and/or AS/NZS 4801) desirable;
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment desirable.
• 3 years experience as an HSE Coordinator / Advisor in a similar organisation
• Solid understanding of HSE legislation systems and standards (ISO AS/NZS)
• Proven ability to coach and influence key stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and risk-based thinking
• Excellent communication reporting and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
