Job Summary

SUMMARY: To successfully ship/receive quality Tree Top products in a safe efficient and expedient manner while professionally representing TreeTop to external customers. Organize load plan per layout and weight. Communicate with internal and external representatives (personnel) both verbally and in writing. Operate different lift trucks and attachments safely and efficiently. Only a qualified trained Shipper and Warehouse Forklift Driver can relieve this position.

Verify Product on Hand
Perform Quality Checks of Products and Trailer
Communicate with Carriers Professionally
Properly Secure Products on Load

Maintain a Clean Safe Work Area

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Zero to six months position related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to communicate in English.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and a series of numbers.
Ability to communicate in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients other employees of TreeTop.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
Ability to perform these operations using units of measure.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls: reach with hands and arms; climb or balance: and talk or hear: taste or smell:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is/or could be exposed to: Extreme heat moving mechanical parts wet and/or humid conditions electrical shock high precarious positions fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals all weather conditions vibrations and loud noise.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PAY INFORMATION:

Salary Range: $19.87-$25.17/HR

This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this positions grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors such as experience and if applicable location. Salary increases are determined by promotional opportunities. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll. This position is eligible for annual safety incentive.
