Job Summary

JOB TYPE: Full Time
REPORTS TO: Director of Landscape Maintenance
GENERAL-PURPOSE
The Account Manager oversee a portfolio of Landscape Maintenance and snow clients. The Account manager is responsible for customer satisfaction job retention enhancement sales quality control and other duties as required.
HOURS
Monday through Friday: 6:30 am to 4:30pm. Some nights weekends and holidays may be required as work load requires.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively communicate with clients to build trust based professional relationships.
- Documentation of work performed and job reporting
- Job site walks and quality control inspections.
- Direct field operations on client expectations and requirements.
- Provide client with property enhancement ideas designs and proposals.
- Handle all client concerns in a professional and prompt manner.
- Contract renewals and new sales
- Snow removal supervision includes nights weekends and holidays.
- Attend board meetings when requested
- Be attentive to crew and public safety. Address any and all safety concerns immediately either directly or with the aid of the Safety manager.
Secondary Job Duties:
- Manage change orders invoicing and billing processes for clients ensuring that payments are received on time.
- Aid construction team in lining out and completing sold enhancement projects to meet clients expectations.
- Train field operations on best management practices scope of work and client expectations.
- Supervise field operations and train field supervisors to aid in production quality and safety.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Associates or bachelor degree in Horticulture Landscape Design/Architecture or related field (Preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance management or related field.
- Ability to estimate and sell landscape upgrades including design work as needed.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and instruct in Spanish (preferred)
- Strong leadership skills and experience in people management.
- Excellent sales and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to create and manage budgets
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to visit various jobsite locations
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Ability to work irregular hours overnight weekend and holiday shifts
- Ability to speak to the public and present to small or large audiences
