What Youll Do:


As our Benefits Manager youll be the architect and advocate for employee benefits. You will lead the charge on designing improving and delivering benefit programs that actually work for the people who use them.

Heres what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Design smart people-centered benefits plans in partnership with leadership and brokers including a shift to a partially self-funded health plan.
  • Be the go-to resource for employees navigating their benefits!
  • Develop communication strategies that help employees actually understand and use their benefits (E.g. guides FAQs presentations open enrollment sessions).
  • Manage vendor and broker relationships ensuring performance accountability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations (HIPAA COBRA ACA etc).
  • Analyze data and trends to provide meaningful insights that help leadership make smart data-backed decisions.
  • Keep systems and records accurate and up to date and help improve how we manage benefits across platforms (like Paylocity or other systems).

Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in HR Business Admin or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3 years of progressive HR or benefits administration experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with self-funded or partially self-funded health plans strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience and vendor/broker management skills preferred
  • Excellent communication analytical and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. Paylocity ADP Workday) is a plus
  • Tech-savvy strategic thinker and a true employee advocate
