About the Role
As a Cafe Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafe and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
Responsibilities include:
- Training team members in store processes and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with Food by WHSmith hygiene Standards.
- Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Cafe Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations.
- Assist in the preparation of both food and beverages/coffees.
This is a casual position with the requirement for flexibility to work from 6am to 6pm.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- 2 years experience in a food outlet.
- Supervisory experience in a cafe setting.
- Great communication skills.
- Barista experience.
- Ability to lead and run a shift.
- Understanding of till reconciliation and cash handling.
- Exceptional time management skills and reliability.
- Flexible availability with the ability to start early and open or finish late and close.
You will be a natural leader with excellent soft skills and be able to inspire and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
