-Or 2 yrs. exp. as Health Planning Administrator 1 65245 with experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Health Planning Administrator 2 65246 with experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

The Assistant Bureau Chief (Health Planning Administrator 3) will work under the direction of the Bureau of Environmental Health and Radiation Protections administrator to assist in planning and directing statewide environmental health programs (e.g. Food Safety Private Water & Sewage Treatment Recreation Programs Lead & Healthy Homes Lead/Asbestos Licensure & Inspection X-ray licensure & Inspection Radon Licensure & Inspection Nuclear Materials Safety & Technical Support). Unless required by legislation the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 15 Step 1 of the Exempt Pay Range Schedule ($43.09 per hour) with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($45.51) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
