Title: Maintenance Technician

Please note that the two open positions are for the 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. shift.
Compensation: $34-$36/hour depending on experience
About the Role
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing this essential role you will ensure our production equipment operates safely and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repairs. This position plays a vital part in minimizing downtime supporting production goals and maintaining overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production delays.

Conduct mold changes and preventive maintenance work on molds.

Perform machining milling and metal fabrication as required.

Collaborate with production teams to create and maintain maintenance schedules.

Maintain accurate records of repairs maintenance work and parts usage.

Recommend and assist with improvements to equipment and production processes.

Maintain a safe organized and clean work environment.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician preferably in the plastics manufacturing industry.

Hands-on knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Proven ability to diagnose and repair industrial machinery and production equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.

Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) a plus.

Experience with blow molding operations (injection or extrusion) required.

Strong problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.
