Job Summary

Job Title: Piping Inspector

Location: Qatar (Onshore/Offshore as per project requirements)

Project Duration: Minimum 1 year (extendable based on performance and project needs)

Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off (or as per project policy)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspection and surveillance of piping fabrication erection and testing activities.
Ensure all piping works comply with project specifications QA/QC procedures and international standards.
Monitor welding fit-up hydrotesting painting and final reinstatement activities.
Review piping isometrics material test certificates and welding records.
Verify that consumables materials and equipment conform to specifications.
Report deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Maintain daily inspection logs prepare reports and coordinate with construction/QA-QC teams.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of experience in piping inspection within oil & gas petrochemical or refinery projects.
Strong knowledge of ASME API ASTM and relevant piping codes & standards.
Mandatory Certifications:
- CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 (Welding Inspector Piping)
- BGAS/ICorr Level 2 (Painting/Coating Inspector)
- Certification in Conventional NDT Methods (RT UT MT PT).
Demonstrated experience in piping fabrication erection and pressure testing.
Fluent in English with strong reporting and communication skills.

Preferred / Advantageous Certifications

API 570 (Piping Inspector).
PCN/ASNT NDT Certificates (e.g. PAUT TOFD).
Offshore safety certifications (Valid Offshore Medical BOSIET/TBOSIET H2S).
