Job Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the Ras Laffan Project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas sector with the ability to oversee site activities ensure compliance with project specifications and support construction execution efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all site mechanical works ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Review project drawings technical specifications and work procedures related to mechanical activities.
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and project teams for timely completion of site work.
- Ensure proper installation testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Prepare site reports monitor progress and escalate potential issues or delays to management.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure PPE usage by all site personnel.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably in oil and gas projects.
- Certification: Relevant mechanical/engineering certifications will be an advantage.
- Language: Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities
