Role Overview:
As a Data Analyst Intern at Marsh you will support data reporting visualization and analysis to drive business insights and improve outcomes across our business units. This hybrid role requires collaboration both remotely and in-office providing hands-on experience working with large datasets building dashboards and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract clean and validate data from internal systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
Develop and maintain reports and interactive dashboards using Excel and Power BI
Analyze data trends and present key insights to business stakeholders to support decision-making
Write optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and reporting
Maintain comprehensive data documentation and uphold data integrity standards
Manage multiple tasks independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a co-op or internship program in Data Science Computer Science Business Analytics or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data visualization and reporting
Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills to convey insights clearly
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage priorities and work independently in a hybrid work setting
