Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist coordinates and provides restorative and rehabilitative occupational therapy services working closely with the PACE Physician rehabilitation staff and other IDT members to maximize participant independence and safety as well as enhance performance of ADLs.

On the day-to-day you will:

Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs preferences and goals
Actively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans
Deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans
Provide active and passive exercise muscle re-education gait and functional training of ADLs
Work with Therapy Assistants providing training instruction and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP)

Job requirements include:

Bachelors degree in occupational therapy; masters preferred
Two (2) years in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population preferred
Valid California Occupational Therapy License or proof of license eligibility
Current CPR certification preferred

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $99309 - $131088 / year Bonus Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes 401k match healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
