Job Summary Details:

The Part-time Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors through shampooing extraction stripping and waxing ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety in accordance with company procedures.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:00p.m to 9:30p.m.

Locations: OXY - Deer Park Pasadena and La Porte TX

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must possess a valid drivers license

Minimum one year of experience in floor care including buffing stripping waxing mopping and scrubbing

No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum one year of experience in floor care including buffing stripping waxing mopping and scrubbing

Customer service experience

1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain floors in accordance with company standards.
Perform floor care tasks including shampooing extraction stripping and waxing floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Notify the manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients co-workers shift coordinators supervisors and managers.
Comply with all safety security compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the company clients and regulatory authorities.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment used for floor care and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access and clean all areas of the floor.
Gather and empty trash from floor areas and ensure common spaces are tidy.
Perform incidental seasonal tasks such as snow removal or maintenance of outdoor walkways as needed.
