The workforce is highly skilled and consists of application consultants software engineers and networking engineers located throughout the U.S and Canada.
Network Engineer / Consultant
This role requires the employee to live in the Pittsburg PA area. This will be a remote role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work as a Field Network Engineer who has some experience working with a Managed Service Provider architecting monitoring and maintaining client technology network cloud and server infrastructure.
- Serve as a Technology Advisor meeting frequently to discuss opportunities to improve the clients environment with the latest technology including CyberSecurity and cloud-based solutions to support customer goals.
- Balance multiple customers requests smaller projects and necessary meetings while meeting customer satisfaction expectations.
- Flexibility for working after business hours and weekendsis required at times.
Education Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience working with customer support in the field of computer systems servers and networking in a Managed Services or similar computer consulting field.
- Candidates should have strong skills in the following: Network skill sets configuring maintaining and other vendors (i.e. SonicWall Meraki) firewalls switches and wireless access points. Microsoft M365 range of products focusing on messaging and security solutions. Current certifications in any of these technologies will be highly considered.
- Experience with Sage 300 CRE would be very helpful but not required for this role.
- Other skills such asSAGE 300 & 100 LinuxSAN Storage Mobile deployments FACTS and Disaster Recovery would-be a plus but not required.
- Willing to travel locally 1-2 days a week may be required but the ability to work and solve most technical issues through remote support is a must.
