As part of this journey were looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Payroll Officer to join our People & Culture team.
This role is ideal for someone with 13 years of payroll experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems supporting store teams and ensuring accurate and timely pay runs. Youll play a key role in maintaining payroll data resolving queries and supporting the transition to a new payroll system.
As a Payroll Officer you will:
- Process weekly pay runs using HR3 and Kronos
- Review and validate timesheets and leave requests
- Investigate and resolve payroll queries from team members and external bodies
- Generate pay run and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders
- Maintain employee master data and personnel files
- Support compliance with awards agreements and payroll legislation
What you will bring:
- 13 years experience in a payroll role ideally in retail
- Experience with Kronosand SAP highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills able to explain payroll matters clearly
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a manual evolving environment
