At Woodhouse Adventure Park were looking for a capable practical and self-motivated Maintenance & Services Officer to help keep our 54-hectare property safe functional and looking its best. From general repairs and infrastructure checks to mowing pruning and getting things guest-ready this is a hands-on full-time rolewhere no two days are quite the same.
Whether its a school camp wedding or family weekend away - your work helps create the kind of experience that people remember for all the right reasons.
DescriptionWhat youll be doing
- General property maintenance across buildings amenities and basecamps
- Basic repairs (patching painting fixing adjusting) and minor projects
- Grounds upkeep - mowing pruning clearing debris and managing seasonal tasks
- Setting up equipment and assisting with guest preparation (e.g. fire drums BBQs signage)
- Performing routine checks (e.g. gas bottles water systems hazards)
- Reporting issues and logging tasks using internal job tracking systems
- Supporting volunteers and contractors when needed
Skills And ExperiencesWhat youll need
- A good set of practical skills and a hands-on mindset
- Experience in general maintenance groundskeeping or similar work
- The ability to work independently and manage your time well
- Confidence using tools and small machinery
- Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in all weather
- A current SA drivers license and police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
