Role Overview
We are seeking a Digital Product Sr Manager (AI Adoption Lead) within Enterprise AI & Data Science to lead enterprise adoption of AI products and platforms across Amgen. Youll drive adoption and growth of a suite of resourceful enterprise tools that accelerate scientific discovery streamline R&D workflows and enable educated decision-making across a complex biotech environment.
As a Digital Product Sr Manager AI Adoption Lead you will operate autonomously and cross-functionallypartnering with engineering data scientists software engineers and domain experts. You will translate the potential of LLMs agent-based AI and ML platforms into high-impact solutions for scientific users. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of AI innovation and biotech transformation.
What Youll Do
Use Enterprise AI tools daily; staying abreast of innovative AI capabilities and features available within Amgen and the broader industry
Engage directly with executives scientists and internal collaborators to deeply understand difficulties and validate possible AI solutions
Educate Train and Drive Adoption of Enterprise ChatGPT and Enterprise AI Platforms and Tools across Amgen with particular emphasis on executives in Thousand Oaks CA.
Build and scale the AI operational support framework using the Amgen Service Desk Executive Support teams Champions Network and internal product team resources to support ChatGPT and AI products globally
Partner with broader AI&Data teams (Solution Partners AI/ML Platform Engineering AI/ML Data Science) to provide last mile delivery technical implementation guidance and adoption for AI&Data capabilities to enterprise consumers of AI across Technology and Business Functions.
Act as a bridge between the AI product teams and consumers of the AI platforms incorporating customer feedback and product capability gaps into the platform roadmap to deliver more value.
Own and define adoption metrics across AI products usage analytics and model performance critical metrics; iterate based on data and feedback.
Synthesize complex functional needs and translate them to define how AI platforms can solve current difficulties or evolve to meet enterprise business goals.
Apply strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships across functions fostering alignment and teamwork. Able to build trust with senior leaders through demos pilots and value storytelling.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 2 years of AI Adoption experience
OR
Masters degree and 4 years of AI Adoption experience
OR
Bachelors degree and 6 years of AI Adoption experience
OR
Associates degree and 10 years of AI Adoption experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of AI Adoption experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in AI/ML product leadership or product adoption roles
Prior experience leading enterprise adoption of new technologies technical product evangelism or organizational training programs
Experience in scaling internal tools or platforms to thousands of enterprise users.
Has served as a trusted partner with senior leadership with capability of challenging and influencing departmental objectives to realize the benefit of AI
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data privacy considerations in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
Strong background of developing and driving AI strategies that align with organizational goals across business functions.
Salary Range
