Job Summary:
The Waiter position in Shangri-la Jeddah is more than the regular duties of greetingand serving the guests but dazzling and delightingthe guests by creating memorable dining experience in the Food & Beverage outlet by living the Shangri-la Standards.
As a Waiter we rely on you to:
- Have a strong understanding of the menu and the way each dish is prepared.
- Suggest to guests on Menu selection.
- Take orders and serve with great love and affection.
- Obsess over delighting guests and create wow moments.
- Get the restaurant ready before service.
- Seamlessly coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely service to the guest.
- Ensuring the billing is done appropriately and posted accordingly.
- Follow the Shangri-la Food Safety Processes and Procedures.
- Assist fellow colleagues in the success of the F&B outlet.
- Assist the supervisor in ensuring smooth meal operations.
What were looking for
- Great conversational skills for engaging with guests.
- Strong English skills
- Positive Attitude and willingness to learn.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a waiter in 5 Star Hotels.
