Position Overview

Agile Group seeks a Power BI Analyst / Business Intelligence Developer to design and deliver dynamic dashboards that transform complex project data into actionable insights. This role supports Agiles Program Managers and stakeholders by building high-impact visualizations that inform decisions across cost schedule and performance metrics.

Youll collaborate with technical and program teams to ensure project data is accurate integrated and visually compelling. The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI expertise with a practical understanding of project management data and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for project tracking cost and schedule analysis.
  • Integrate data from Primavera P6 SharePoint Microsoft 365 and other sources; ensure real-time data accuracy and integrity.
  • Build and optimize data models DAX calculations and KPIs to meet business requirements.
  • Translate technical data into clear executive-ready insights and summaries.
  • Conduct requirements sessions train end-users and present results to stakeholders.
  • Establish visualization standards documentation and report inventory for quality control.
  • Validate data through QA checks and troubleshoot reporting issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Business Intelligence Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 35 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence including 2 years in Power BI development.
  • Experience with project management or performance data (costs schedules resources) preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Expert use of Microsoft Power BI (Desktop Service Report Builder).
  • Strong knowledge of DAX Power Query (M language) and SQL.
  • Skilled in data modeling ETL processes and relational databases.
  • Advanced Excel (Power Pivot Power Query).
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 SharePoint SQL Server and Azure.
  • Understanding of visualization and UX best practices.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent BI certification).

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $85000 $95000 annually commensurate with experience and location.
