A top-tier independent school in Oxford is seeking a talented Art Teacher to join its thriving Art & Design Department from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role offering the opportunity to teach in a school where artistic expression and academic excellence go hand in hand.
The Role
You will teach Art & Design across KS3KS5 delivering imaginative skills-based lessons that encourage experimentation creativity and reflection. Students explore a wide range of media from fine art and sculpture to digital illustration and photography.
Youll also play an active role in organising student exhibitions art competitions and workshops with visiting artists. The department regularly collaborates with museums galleries and local creative industries giving pupils a rich real-world understanding of the arts.
