A top-performing Bath secondary school rated Ofsted Outstanding is seeking a talented and inspiring Physics Teacher to join its highly successful Science Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to teach motivated high-achieving students in a supportive and innovative academic community.
The Role
You will teach Physics across Key Stages 35 using practical demonstrations experimentation and engaging discussion to bring the subject to life. Lessons here are creative well-resourced and designed to challenge pupils understanding of how the world works from particle theory to astrophysics.
The department offers a broad range of enrichment opportunities including astronomy evenings science fairs and entry into national competitions such as the Physics Olympiad. Teachers work collaboratively to share best practice and ensure consistently high standards across all year groups.
Theres also scope to take on additional responsibilities within the department or wider school community depending on your experience and interests.
