A vibrant and forward-thinking 1118 academy in the Towcester area is looking for a committed French Teacher to join its modern languages department from January 2026. This full-time permanent post has been designed with Early Career Teachers in mind offering structured support collaboration and scope to grow. Youll teach French across Key Stages 35 (GCSE and potentially A-Level) and help inspire linguistic confidence and cultural curiosity in students.
What Were Looking For
Wed love to hear from someone who:
- Holds QTS PGCE or is completing training this academic year
- Has subject knowledge in French and confidence in language teaching
- Is ready to deliver lessons that combine rigour communicative approaches and creativity
- Uses assessment and feedback to scaffold progress and build student confidence
- Is collaborative reflective and motivated to contribute to the life of the department
Experience leading language clubs exchange programmes or cultural events would be a bonus but enthusiasm adaptability and drive are most important.

You may also lead or collaborate on cross-curricular projects (for example with geography history or arts) to bring language learning alive.
