Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality practical and theoretical Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 4 (GCSE) and 5 (A-Level).
- Inspire students to pursue STEM subjects at the highest level fostering analytical and problem-solving skills in the laboratory and classroom.
- Contribute to the whole-school science culture potentially leading projects academic societies or STEM enrichment activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Science department to ensure curriculum coherence and excellent teaching quality across all ability ranges.
- Effectively assess monitor and report on student progress to ensure exceptional outcomes.
Requirements
- A degree in Physics or a related scientific/engineering discipline and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Demonstrable success in teaching Physics to A-Level and a history of achieving high value-added results.
- Excellent laboratory management skills and a commitment to safe engaging practical science instruction.
