We are seeking an enthusiastic skilled and committed Health and Social Care Teacher to join the successful Vocational/Social Sciences faculty at a high-achieving secondary school/academy in the London Borough of Merton.

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• A proven track record as an excellent Health & Social Care Teacher with essential experience teaching vocational courses to Key Stage 5 (A-Level equivalent BTEC/Technical Level).
• Strong subject knowledge across key areas like human lifespan development equality and diversity and anatomy.
• A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement and vocational skills.
• A collaborative mindset committed to contributing positively to departmental planning and student success.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Inner London Teachers (currently 40317 - 62496 for 2025/2026).
