You work in three different teams exposed to a range of projects in the Trading & Sales division. The perfect start for your future career!
The traineeship begins on 1st of April 2026 and is limited to 18 months with the option of a permanent position.
What you will do
- Work on different operational and/or strategic tasks in your assignments and take on responsibility from day one.
- Contribute innovative solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows.
- Support our traders by analysing energy markets using statistical algorithmic and other technical tools to be able to establish trading strategies as well as research political or technical development and develop tools.
- The first assignment will take place at the Gas Desk: Perform gas market analysis for Eastern and Western Europe code tasks using python and data visualization with Power BI and assist in biomethane business development projects.
- The second and third assignment are in the area of your interest.
What you bring & who you are
- Masters Degree in Engineering Mathematics or Economics (no more than 2 years of post-graduation professional experience)
- Coding skills in Python experience in data visualization (Power BI preferred) and knowledge of process automation
- Technical understanding of the energy market
- First working experience as an intern or working student
- Fluent in English German is a plus
- Analytical approach to solve problems curiosity and flexibility
- Project Management knowledge is a plus
