Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team in San Angelo TX. This full-time permanent position offers a consistent day shift schedule with guaranteed hours. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures ensure patient comfort and safety and collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
- Position patients properly to ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all state federal and facility regulations including HIPAA.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Certification:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
- Valid state license to practice (Texas MRT Medical Radiologic Technologist License).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Tech.
