Job Summary

Registered Nurse- Emergency Room Permanent Role

Location: Tallahassee FL 32301

Shift: Days Nights and Mids
Job Type: Permanent

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

What You Will Do in This Role:

Triage assess and provide care to patients of all ages
Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans
Implement nursing strategies and alternatives to achieve desired outcomes
Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while prioritizing care based on urgency
Deliver follow-up care instructions and make appropriate referrals
Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary teams and other hospital departments
Maintain patient safety and ensure high-quality standards of care

Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care ER RN experience required
Licensure:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or multistate license or ability to obtain before start date
Education:
- Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required prior to start
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor required within 90 days of start
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor required within 90 days of start
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 90 days of start
