Anatomy physiology production of radiographs utilizing multiple types of equipment. Provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
Education: Graduate of Sonographer accredited program required.
Position summary: Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.
Using sonographic equipment to record images of patients and help diagnose a variety of medical illnesses and conditions. performs diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound technology. They are responsible for operating sonographic equipment and communicating the results of diagnostic examinations. . Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
