Job Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator to support Power Platform and SharePoint environments for a state IT organization. This role requires a skilled professional with expertise in SharePoint administration Power Platform applications and Microsoft 365 services who can manage troubleshoot and maintain enterprise systems while providing technical support and training to users. The ideal candidate must be a local resident able to work onsite full-time.
Responsibilities

Manage maintain and troubleshoot Power Platform applications and SharePoint on-premises and online environments.

Establish new Power Platform and SharePoint specifications by consulting with users and analyzing workflow access and security requirements.

Upgrade SharePoint systems by developing testing evaluating and installing enhancements.
-
Provide user support and resolve incidents related to Power Platform and SharePoint functionality permissions and access control.

Assist users with Power Apps Power Automate workflows and Power BI dashboards.

Perform regular site audits monitor usage and ensure optimal SharePoint performance.
-
Generate reports on usage issues and ticket resolutions for Power Platform and SharePoint.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend solutions and enhancements that improve functionality and user experience.

Maintain comprehensive documentation including design documents best practices user guides and troubleshooting guides.

Conduct training sessions and create knowledge base articles for common user issues.
-
Work with other business units to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Support other IT staff including developers and accept ownership of new projects and requests.
Required Knowledge & Skills
-
Knowledge of SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises administration including site management permissions and content management.

Knowledge of supporting Power Platform applications (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI).

Knowledge of Microsoft products including Office 365 OneDrive and Teams in extensive environments.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system application and integration issues for Power Platform and SharePoint.

Knowledge of governance and compliance best practices within Power Platform and SharePoint environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing technical issues.

Knowledge of basic network concepts and web-based application troubleshooting.

Experience creating and maintaining user guides technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Knowledge of IT service management platforms (e.g. ServiceNow) for ticket management and incident resolution.

IIS Administration knowledge is a plus.
