Title: Cisco Meraki Technician
Location: Fort Washington PA(Onsite)

Description:
- A Cisco Meraki Technician designs deploys and maintains cloud-managed network infrastructures including wireless access points switches and security appliances.
- Responsibilities include configuring the Meraki Dashboard troubleshooting network issues providing technical support and collaborating with clients and vendors to ensure optimal and secure network performance.
- Key skills are a strong understanding of Meraki systems network protocols and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Deployment: Implement and deploy Meraki wireless switching and security solutions.
- Configuration: Manage and configure the Meraki Dashboard to monitor network devices including wireless access points (MRs) switches (MSs) and security appliances (MXs).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and performance problems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to end-users and clients.
- Maintenance: Perform ongoing maintenance of cloud-managed network infrastructures.
- Collaboration: Work with internal IT teams vendors and customers to meet project requirements and ensure network optimization.
- Security Management: Ensure network security through the implementation of firewalls VLANs and VPNs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Meraki Expertise:
- Strong practical experience and knowledge of Meraki systems and the Meraki Dashboard.
Network Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of network design principles wired and wireless networking and protocols.
- Troubleshooting Skills:
- Ability to identify and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
Technical Communication:
- Clear and effective communication skills to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Ability to work effectively within teams and foster collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Certifications:
- Networking certifications such as Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist or other relevant vendor certifications are often beneficial according to Cisco Systems.
