Job Summary
**Ratio:** The department typically accommodates approximately nine patients per shift. Each technologist will always collaborate with another Technical Aide or an MRI Technologist/Traveler and will never operate independently. After midnight the departments coverage will be managed through on-call support.
**Holiday Coverage:
** Travelers are required to fulfill responsibilities for two of the following holiday periods:
- Thanksgiving and the subsequent Friday/weekend- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the subsequent Friday/weekend- New Years Eve/New Years Day and the subsequent Friday/weekend
**Qualifications:**
- A minimum of two years of current MRI experience is essential.
- ARRT (MR) Certification is mandatory.
- Experience with GE equipment is required.
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings is necessary.-
The ability to take call as needed is required.
- Travelers must possess their own vehicle to meet departmental needs.
- A permanent address must be included in the traveler profile for this requirement.
