Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter Welder to join our team in Catoosa OK. The Fitter Welder will be responsible for performing both fitting and welding duties with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the trade and demonstrate proficiency in MIG welding on carbon steel and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a clean climate-controlled fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fit and weld components according to blueprints and project specifications.
Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and TIG welding on stainless and aluminum materials.
Accurately interpret and apply layout and measurement conversions.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are consistently met.
Use measuring tools such as calipers squares and tape measures to verify alignment and tolerances.
Inspect completed welds for defects and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a safe and organized work area adhering to company safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Fitter Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Skilled in MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and weld symbols.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes material preparation and fit-up.
Proficient with measuring and layout tools.
Strong attention to detail mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Must be dependable punctual and team-oriented.
