Job Summary

Encouraging the children to learn and speak good German (without accent/ hochdeutsch) making it fun and interesting through playing games reading play and normal daily conversations.

Other responsibilities mostly shared with the full time nanny:

Providing full daily care for the children including meals bathing bedtime routines and school/nursery runs

Planning fun and educational activities tailored to each childs age and stage of development

Supporting routines organising outings and preparing the children for special occasions

Cooking healthy meals for the children and eating with them where possible

Keeping childrens areas clothes and equipment clean tidy and well-maintained

Caring for the children when unwell including administering medicines and attending GP visits

Requirements

-Native level German speaker

-Proven experience in education tutoring or child development

-Strong ability to create a nurturing educational atmosphere

-Excellent communication and organizational skills

-Punctual reliable and legally able to work in the UK (can provide sponsorship for exceptional candidates)

Enhanced DBS dated this month (or on DBS update service)

Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate

Right to work in UK (& already living in London)

Good references for recent and relevant nanny work

Able to run after small children

Be able to engage in play at floor level for extended periods of time and get up from the floor quickly.

Fluent English.

Fluent German

Living within reasonable commutable distance
