As the Merchant Acquisition and Development Manager youll play a pivotal role in growing and maintaining our merchant portfolioboth online and offline. Youll lead merchant onboarding initiatives negotiate offers and partnerships and ensure consistent value delivery across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire and onboard new merchants across various industries (retail e-commerce hospitality etc.)
- Manage and grow relationships with existing merchantsonline platforms and brick-and-mortar businesses
- Negotiate compelling merchant offers discounts and exclusive partnerships for platform users
- Create strategies to increase merchant engagement and retention
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Marketing Product) to develop effective campaigns and solutions
- Monitor merchant performance collect feedback and optimize merchant experience
- Stay informed on market trends to identify opportunities and competitive positioning

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or a related field 5 years of experience in merchant acquisition business development in fintech payments or retail sectors Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills with a track record of closing deals Experience managing both digital and physical merchant operations Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving ability Familiarity with CRM systems and merchant management platforms Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
