When youre injured even routine activities can be difficult. To help you recover fully CHI Health Rehabilitation Care provides physical therapy at outpatient rehabilitation clinics throughout Omaha and the surrounding area. CHI Health Rehabiliation Care Therapists are medically trained licensed professionals with expertise in all subspecialties of physical therapy focusing on musculoskeletal dysfunction from injury disease processes and/or post-surgical recovery. We also have on staff several physiatrists - doctors of physical medicine -- who specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with physical disabilities.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Pelvic Health Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating planning and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunctions and related musculoskeletal conditions. This role focuses on the outpatient setting providing evidence-based care to improve patients function reduce pain and enhance quality of life. The therapist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and educates patients in self-management strategies and preventative care.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pelvic floor function including assessment of musculoskeletal neuromuscular and functional limitations.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing conditions such as urinary/fecal incontinence pelvic organ prolapse pelvic pain pregnancy/postpartum-related issues and sexual dysfunction.
Utilize manual therapy neuromuscular re-education therapeutic exercise biofeedback and other modalities as appropriate.
Document all patient interactions progress and outcomes in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards.
Educate patients on pelvic health anatomy posture body mechanics and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with referring providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Maintain current knowledge of pelvic health practices continuing education and certifications.
Contribute to program development community outreach and patient education initiatives related to pelvic health and rehabilitation.
Eligible for up to a $5000 sign-on bonus and $10000 in student loan reimbursement!!!
