We are seeking a Climate Adviser to join our compliance and governance risk advisory offering Owl Advisory by KWM. This team is busy and growing and we are seeking a climate adviser who is passionate about helping our clients achieve their climate reporting obligations. You will work in a collaborative and high performing environment where your contributions make a real impact and your expertise is highly valued. This role will be performed part time either two or three days per week.

The Role
This role is a client-facing climate adviser role in King & Wood Mallesons Compliance and Governance Risk Advisory offering Owl Advisory by KWM.
You will report to the General Manager Head of Compliance Advisory and will work to assist KWMs clients with the preparation and verification of reports to satisfy mandatory climate reporting obligations including emissions measurement transition planning scenario planning and financial impacts of climate change and with advice on climate-related policies and programs.
This role will also work with our Sustainable Finance and Energy Transition legal teams providing expert advice on environmental issues and regulatory processes to clients who are developing and financing renewable energy projects and others involved in carbon trading activities.
This role has responsibilities across all Australian centres and plays a key collaboration role across the partnership at KWM.
