Primary Responsibilities
This is a graduate assistantship for rodeo. The graduate student will assist with practice and student instruction as directed by the coach and assistant coach. Applicant will serve as a graduate assistant to the SRSU Rodeo Coach and will be required to attend and contribute to practice and athlete development. Requirements will include attending and leading practice prepping for practice and team meetings mentoring rodeo athletes checking in with athletes on class performance providing support in and out of the arena for undergraduate rodeo student athletes. The graduate assistant will coordinate with the rodeo coach to guide and direct activities. Travel to out of town college rodeos may be required as needed. Responsible for personal safety and safety of others; must exercise caution and practice safe work habits at all times. May work weekends and some holidays. Position is Security Sensitive.
