This is a temporary position.
The Claims Support Specialist will provide administrative support for Claims Operations including daily assignment of international claims document handling mail routing and check processing. The Claims Support Specialist reports to the Sr. Director Global Claims and interacts with our customers and associates all levels of management within the department and other risk management groups.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required High School Diploma or GED. 1 years equivalent/relevant experience. Experience in Microsoft Office applications: Excel Word Teams SharePoint and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively with strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Review and assign International Claims to AIG (MIRA) daily Assist EPL examiners as needed with copying files from IVOS into zipped folder Sort prioritize and route digital and physical mail for the department including subrogation checks Request settlement check act as back up for settlement check preparation and address settlement reimbursement Assist in coordinating audit responses for AIG Other administrative duties as assigned
