As a Team Lead you will be responsible for managing a team of Middle Office professionals and overseeing critical operational processes that support both Banking and Inter-Dealer Brokerage activities. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to the smooth execution of complex financial operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of Middle Office specialists ensuring effective task allocation and performance management.
- Overseeing trade capture validation and lifecycle event management across multiple asset classes.
- Managing settlement processes reconciliations and exception handling.
- Collaborating with Front Office Back Office Risk and Compliance to resolve operational issues and support business needs.
- Maintaining robust operational controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Acting as the primary contact for senior stakeholders and global teams delivering operational updates and reporting.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Middle Office Operations within financial services.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and driving performance.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle settlement processes and financial instruments.
- Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks .
- Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English is essential; Polish language skills are a plus.
