About the Role
A luxury furniture manufacturer is seeking a skilled Technical Designer with strong SolidWorks and CAD experience to join its design team. This is a production-focused role where youll be responsible for transforming creative concepts into detailed accurate drawings that can be manufactured to the highest standards.
Youll work closely with project managers production teams and skilled craftspeople to ensure designs are both practical and precise helping deliver exceptional bespoke projects.

Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 3D models and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks and CAD software
Ensure designs are production-ready balancing creativity with manufacturing feasibility
Collaborate with project managers and workshop teams to deliver solutions efficiently
Contribute to design problem-solving and innovation across bespoke projects
Maintain precision and consistency throughout all design documentation
What Were Looking For
Proven proficiency in SolidWorks and strong CAD skills (essential)
Experience in technical design for furniture joinery or related manufacturing fields
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into technical outputs
Strong communication skills and a collaborative hands-on approach
