The community of Pictou is seeking a full scope family physician to join their family practice network team at Pictou West Health Centre.

Responsibilities

• ensure delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to practice patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
• provide a full scope of services
• inpatient care is preferred but not a requirement 

Expected Hours

• full time 37.5 hours per week 
• 46 out of 52 weeks per year

Remuneration

• $375000 to $400000
• Remuneration type is either Longitudinal Family Medicine payment model or a Fee for Service payment model.

The Pictou West Health Centre is home to Nova Scotia Health services and programs including Pictou West Collaborative Practice and satellite offices for the One Door Chronic Disease Management Centre Seniors Clinic and Continuing Care.  

:

• All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
• All applicants must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
