Lawyer Associate: Commercial Litigation

About the role:
- The role will involve a variety of legal work including:
- Drafting and advising on Dealer Agreements within the automotive industry along with related documents like franchise policies manuals and franchising code documentation.
- Providing expert guidance on Franchising Code compliance matters.
- Negotiating and drafting IP licenses and handling assignments.
- Working on IT and Tech Agreements including SaaS Agreements and drafting Terms and Conditions for marketplace platforms.
- Handling Distribution Agreements Supply Agreements and Trading Terms.
- Offering advice on Consumer Law (ACL) and Privacy matters.
- Managing a broad range of commercial contracts across various sectors.
- Work Environment & Flexibility:
- Hybrid: 1 day WFH 4 days in-office
- Team culture: Very flexible open-door policy and a collaborative approach
- Billables: 5.5 6.5 but not strictly enforced
The ideal candidate:
- Lawyer (2PQE) with proven track record in general commercial law IPT and franchising with strong academic results.
- Relevant Legal Qualification/Admission.
