Site Project Manager

The Site Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of the implementation and configuration of networking hardware and software for the creative innovative and thoughtful technical solutions for The Nakupuna Companies client base. The Site Project Manager will work hand in hand with other technical engineers and the Program Manager to execute accepted solutions with new and existing clients.

• Support verification site surveys at government installations on the East coast of the United States to identify and document the current network infrastructure installed to ensure the technical solution meets the customer requirements and schedule
• Manage the installation configuration and information assurance of a major network installation and convergence
• Manage communications with local stakeholders and represent the Nakupuna Companies with clients and subcontractors
• Support the Engineering team in implementing the technical solutions for new and existing clients by scheduling managing customer expectations and working to clear delivery hurdles
• Provide feedback to the Program Manager on risk schedule impacts mitigations and resolutions
• Maintain accurate project schedules plans communications plans risk registers and other project related documentation
• Understanding of networking technologies topologies and protocols. (TCP/IP Routing Switching VLANs Ethernet) knowledge of GPON is a plus

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in a Technology or management related field.
• 7 years experience in managing telecommunications and IT projects.
• 7 years experience delivering solutions to government clients.
• Experience working with DoD clients.
• Experience working with MS Project creating and editing project schedules.

Certification Requirement:

• Professional level network industry certification PMP preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move parts up to 40lbs and occasionally lift and/or move parts up to 50lbs.
• Stand walk stoop kneel crouch or crawl for the majority of working hours.
• Occasionally bend stretch twist orreaching overhead when reaching out or moving items.
• Occasionally use arms hands and fingers to grasp moving of items.

Military Installation Access: This position resides on a military installation. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check.
