Job Summary

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

  1. To assist with the organization and structuring of the EP LAAO Renal Denervation and General Cardiology process.
  2. To ensure that we have systemized processes and protocols in place so that we can utilize them anywhere.
  3. To certify that we follow Guidelines and Evidence Based Practice.
  4. To provide exceptional care to all patients.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Be the clinical liaison among the cardiovascular team the cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons the emergency department outreach clinics and referring physicians.
  2. Be the clinical liaison between the cath lab and the clinic cath lab and the ICU and ICU to home to ensure seamless transition.
  3. Interact with the emergency department staff and inpatient staff to ensure patients seen in the emergency department or inpatient are seen for follow up.
  4. Assist with capturing EP LAOO Renal Denervation and General Cardiology patients from out of state and from within state through traditional and non-traditional referral networks.
  5. Coordinate pre-op and post-op testing in the state of Colorado and outside of the state of Colorado.
  6. Coordinate travel arrangements if necessary to and from Valley Hospital.
  7. Coordinate hotel stays if necessary pre and post Valley View Hospital stays.
  8. Assist with the marketing strategy by becoming an intermediary between marketing and clinical functions.
  9. Participate in CME for staff and patients.
  10. Provide care to outpatient clinic patients cath lab patients and inpatients.
  11. Place pre and post op orders for EP LAAO Renal Denervation patients and General Cardiology patients.
  12. Perform Stress tests and tilt table tests.
  13. All other duties as assigned by the medical or administrative director.
