Job Summary
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Dust and wipe down surfaces including desks tables and windowsills
- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies and hallways
- Operate buffing machines to maintain floor surfaces
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required
- Inspect property regularly to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Serve as a porter ensuring the cleanliness of the building
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition to avoid disruptions in cleaning operations.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work - Preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to handle complaints or requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
Additional Information :
$20.00 - 24.00 per hour
Schedule will vary based on the needs of the property
