• We are looking for an experienced Supply Officer to join our tight knit Supply Chain team

• Salary $74090 and $77200 per annum depending on experience

About the Role

In your role as Supply Officer you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a reliable supply service to a range of wards and clinical services across Health New Zealand Southern. Key areas of focus will include (but are not limited to):

• Support and maintain the supply service across the organisation
• Liaising with departments to requisition and order catalogue and non-catalogue supplies and services
• Providing a comprehensive purchasing support function
• Providing an effective delivery and receipting service for supplies services and equipment.
• Completing duties of the Supply Officer in line with organisational policy around purchasing and supply

Hours of work will be 07:00 15:30 Monday to Friday.

About you

Our ideal candidate will:

• Proficient skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications particularly Word and Excel
• The ability to pick up new computer systems and concepts quickly
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Confidence and the ability to work independently

We will provide you with full on the job training - you wont be thrown in at the deep end!
