Your Team Responsibilities
The Associate will join the Index Products team and play a key role in advancing the teams market research and intelligence initiatives. Reporting to the Global Index Market Intelligence Manager the Associate will be actively involved in all aspects of market intelligence including identifying and managing relevant information sources analyzing and synthesizing data into actionable insights and presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner. The scope of this role is global encompassing the monitoring and analysis of macroeconomic trends industry developments product innovation and competitor activity across multiple markets using both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the market research and intelligence function within the Global Index Product group enabling strategic decision-making and enhancing the groups market and industry knowledge.
- Build a deep understanding of our strategy while closely monitoring market trends and competitive activity to connect the dots and deliver timely decision-enabling insights.
- Collaborate across teams working effectively with colleagues in Index Products as well as with partners in research marketing operations and sales both locally and globally.
- Analyze and present data by manipulating large datasets and leveraging a range of tools to create clear impactful visualizations.
- Focus on insights not just data distill complex information and curate content to deliver relevant digestible and actionable intelligence.
- Leverage technology proactively to identify design and implement innovative methods of collecting synthesizing and communicating timely market intelligence.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong presentation skills with the ability to create logical narratives and transform data into clear executive-ready insights.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Superior English communication skills (written and spoken) with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable parts.
- Resilience under pressure with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and autonomously.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Economics or a related field.
- Knowledge of technology and AI is highly desirable.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience; experience in the financial industry is a plus.
