Worley Consulting is growing our Global Rail Infrastructure Team and were looking for an experiencedSenior Rail Design Engineerwith strong handson12dexpertise and familiarity withAustralian heavy haul rail standards. Youll help shape greenfield rail developments brownfield upgrades and track rehabilitation works across Western Australias Pilbara regioncollaborating daily with our Principal Rail Designer based in Perth.

This role will be based in Kolkata collaborating closely with the Principal Rail Designer inPerth Western Australia. Expect regular crosstimezone design coordination with project teams supporting Pilbara heavy haul programs.

Championing our rail infrastructure team you will be responsible for:

Deliver endtoend rail civil designfrom highlevel concept and order of magnitude studies through toIFCready detailed design.
Model and document in 12d producing accurate geometry corridors and earthworks; lead creation of2D drawings in MicroStationfrom 12d models (or similar).
Workshare coordinationacross Worley offices (including India and Australia) to meet scope budget and schedule commitments.
Support the Principal Rail Designer: clarify scope changes follow checking procedures compile multisource inputs and develop design packages to required engineering standards.
Interface with stakeholderssupporting clear communication with engineering peers and customers; proactively resolve requirement discrepancies.
Stay currentwith tools standards and innovations in rail design; help identify extra design/drafting capacity when needed.
