Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room (OR) team. The OR RN will provide safe high-quality perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires strong critical thinking technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative intraoperative and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Monitor patient condition and vital signs during procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and meet patient and surgeon needs.
- Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Support and educate patients and families regarding surgical care and recovery.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (may be required within 612 months).
- At least 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
- Must have passed the NCLEX.

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
